Semaglutide HCG DIET weight loss TirzepatideThe benefit of Semaglutide is that it can help with appetite suppression and, therefore, the behavioral aspect of eating.  However, if you do not dial in a healthy lifestyle diet while using the medication, it would be more than easy to gain the weight back. We educate all of our patients in our program at The Natural Path on the best and most impactful way to use Semaglutide as a medication for weight loss that has lasting results.

Shifting habits with SEMAGLUTIDE

Remember …  it is more important to focus on shifting overall wellness and not just the movement on the scale (weight loss)!  Weight loss, stalls, and little gains will happen, too!   It can take many months to reset the habits and patterns the body has created with blood sugar and insulin sensitivity.  Behind the scenes, this is what we want to correct!  Insulin is our fat-storage hormone, and if we continue to eat foods that elicit an insulin response, we will continue to store fat.  We are programmed for it. The overall reset of habits and patterns with food can significantly impact your health and well-being as you age.  What is on the end of our fork is the most potent medicine we have over time!

Exercise with Semaglutide

Although you do not need to exercise vigorously on this protocol —  we do need some exercise daily, no matter how ‘tired’ or ‘unmotivated’ we feel.  Exercise boosts the immune system, increases muscle and bone density, lowers blood sugars, and boosts mood.  If 30 minutes feels intimidating, try breaking it into 10-minute “chunks” – a 10-minute walk, a 10-minute stretch, 10 minutes of dancing, or 10 minutes of resistance exercises.  Any burst of movement will help your body and mind — even 5 minutes a day! We were meant to be moving most of the waking hours.

Try to create some stress-free moments in your day.  Being outside is the best. Get with nature, and enjoy the fresh, crisp air.  If you can’t walk, standing out in the fresh air for 3-5 minutes can shift your mood and outlook.

Meditate for 5 to 10 minutes daily—or be in a quiet space away from your phone and TV … 5 minutes!!!!  Meditation or mindfulness comes in many forms … Finding any activity that brings you to the present (for example, painting, playing music, knitting, woodworking, coloring, pottery, petting your pet, even yard work, and cleaning) can be a form of meditation. Try to intentionally do 5 to 10 minutes of this daily.

My patients’ resilience, strength, and drive inspire me daily.  I am inspired daily by the results that come when you give this program your 100%!  Keep reminding yourselves that you are more than worth the effort, and never give up on your goals for better health.  You can do it! Reach out anytime if you need guidance or support!!  It brings me a special kind of joy to help you!
