
HCG Diet Friendly Ground Turkey Tacos
Try this yummy – HCG diet dinner in under 15 minutes
Easy to make and healthy to eat, these tacos are crisp and full of flavor. I am always amazed at the delicious meals that can be created with the limited list of phase II foods on the HCG Diet. This is one of my favorites and I actually make these for my family a couple times per month. In this recipe, we use ground turkey. However, you could also use a lean, grass-fed ground beef or a lean, organic ground chicken as well. In this recipe, I use a little bit of MCT oil. If you choose not to use any of this oil on your HCG Diet Program, you can leave it out and just use a little water.
Ingredients For The HCG DIET Ground Turkey Taco’s
3/4 cup onion, chopped
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
1-2 tsp MCT oil
1 tsp coconut amino’s of Bragg’s liquid amino’s
3.5 ounces organic, lean, ground turkey
1/4 cup cilantro chopped
1/2 lemon
1/4 c shredded cabbage
Butter Lettuce leaves
slat and pepper to taste
The “How-To” on the HCG Diet Ground Turkey Taco Dinner
In a skillet, place 1-2 tsp of MCT oil and turn stove top on to medium heat. Add the chopped onion and green pepper. Sautee for 3 minutes. Add in 1 tsp of coconut amino’s or Bragg’s liquid amino’s and cook another 3 minutes. Then, add in the 3.5 ounces of ground turkey breast , salt and pepper and cook while stirring constantly until meat is cooked through. Set aside and let cool for a few minutes. Arrange butter letttice leaves on a plate and add in the ground turkey mixture by the spoonful. Top with shredded cabbage and cilantro. Squeeze the lemon over the top and enjoy!
