The functions of HCG for weight loss with the HCG Diet, for fertility and increasing testosterone production in men

The Purpose of HCG in the Body and How the HCG Diet Works

 HCG or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, is produced by a female body during pregnancy.  HCG is made by cells in the placenta to nourish the growing fetus.  In general, HCG can be detected in the blood 11 days post fertilization. Urine testing takes 10-14 days after conception to show elevated levels.  The highest levels of HCG happen during weeks 8-12 of pregnancy.  After this time, the levels of HCG decline slowly over the pregnancy term.    HCG also has other uses in the body.  It can be used to increase fertility, increase testosterone production in men and also for weight loss with the HCG Diet Progam.

HCG IS USED FOR FERTILITY TREATMENTS

Scientists have learned thar Human Chorionic Gonadotropin can be released  by cells prior to implantation. HCG has been shown to help the implantation process in some in vitro fertilization studies.

HCG can also be used for women who are not ovulating during their menstrual cycles. Anovulation could be a cause of infertility in some females.  HCG has also been shown to help with progesterone production which is needed at the time of uterine implantation.

Rx HCG and it’s use for Weight Loss – The HCG Diet Protocol

In the last 60 + years, HCG has been used to help with weight loss. The original HCG Diet protocol was designed by Dr. Simeons in the 1950’s.

Studies have shown that HCG injections (pharmaceutical grade, therapeutic dose) help to break down fat cells when a specific diet program is followed.  I have been facilitating the HCG Diet program for 11 years now and it truly is an amazing weight loss and lifestyle program!  My favorite part is that on body composition analysis before and after the program, little to no lean mass is lost while significant amounts of fat stores are burned. I have also found the weight loss on the HCG Diet to be sustainable to most patients who follow the program all the way through phase 3!

Although the prescribed HCG Diet is about 500-800 calories per day of healthy foods, we need to keep in mind that the HCG is allowing the body to burn non-essential fat stores for energy while sparing our healthy fat stores and lean muscle.
