I wanted to make something special and of course healthy for my family this weekend! I love to experiment in the kitchen to see what I can create with healthy ingredients and sometimes it just all comes together quite well. Today was one of those days. I call my little creation … Bites of Bliss!
This little desert is perfect for the occasional indulgence. Made with coconut oil, dark chocolate, almond butter, high quality vanilla protein powder, bee pollen, hemp seeds, maca powder, raw cacao powder, almonds, vanilla extract and coconut these little morcels pack a lot of healthy cell nourishing goodness into their creamy, crunchy deliciousness.
How to make Bites of Bliss
Melt 2 ounces of dark chocolate ( I used green and blacks 80%) with 1/4 cup coconut oil in a double boiler.
Add 1 tsp. vanilla extract and a few drops of stevia if you want a little more sweetness
In a separate bowl, mix together 1/4 c raw cacao powder, 1/4 c protein powder, 2 tbsp.bee pollen, 2 tbsp. hemp seeds, 1/4 cup dried coconut, 1/4 cup chopped almonds. Mix together and add in 1/2 cup almond butter.. Mix until crumbly.
Add the melted chocolate over the crumbly mixture until blended.
Spoon into mini muffin tins and then put in refrigerator to harden up.
Keep refrigerated and ENJOY!!!
