Tips for a Successful HCG Diet Phase 3

CREATE YOUR LIFESTYLE DIET ON PHASE 3 of the HCG Diet!

hcg diet portandPhase 3 of the HCG Diet is very important to follow as outlined on the program. This is where you will stabilize the weight that you lost on phase 2!!!  If you go over 2 lbs from your last injection weight be sure to do a PHASE 3 CORRECTION DAY right away. Here are 2 correction days for you!  It is extremely important to remain committed to following Phase 3!

DR. CARA’S CORRECTION DAY (ex. phase 2 foods/phase 3 amounts)

EXAMPLE:

Breakfast (if needed): 1-2 egg whites

Lunch:  3-5 oz of grilled chicken with 1-2 cups of broccoli

Dinner:  3-5 oz of broiled halibut with 1-2 cups of asparagus

Snacks: free veggies as desired, 1 apple

Hydration: 2 liters of water and 4 cups of herbal tea.

DR. SIMEON’S CORRECTION DAY

STEAK DAY – fast until dinner and then have a 4-6 oz steak for dinner with a raw tomato or small apple. Phase 2 beverages allowed.

PHASE 3 HCG DIET TIPS

START PHASE 3 SLOWLY AND MINDFULLY

Do not fall into the trap of wanting to devour food.  Be mindful. The recommendation for the first couple of days is to concentrate on P2 foods in higher amounts and use some healthy oils.  Do not exceed more than 1 fruit daily and it is ideal if you can have the allowed fruits a few times/week.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS

Data is very important. Keeping a food journal is essential to maintaining your weight loss.  This will not be forever.  P3 is an opportunity to learn which foods create weight gain or that you are sensitive to.

TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATELY  

 As soon as you go 2 lbs over your LIW, go for a Correction Day. Procrastination never works!

ALCOHOL

Most alcoholic beverages are very high in sugar and can easily cause weight gain.  You can try 3 oz of a low sugar, low sulfite wine or a clean vodka once per week and see how your body reacts.

EXERCISE

Please exercise as much as you would like on Phase 3.  Exercise needs to be non-negotiable! Incorporate resistance training, cardio and stretching!

CREATING YOUR LIFESTYLE ON PHASE 3

While on P3, think about what your lifestyle diet will look like.  Make the choice to follow your “lifestyle diet” 85-90% of your life. This leaves 10-15% of your eating time to celebrate & indulge on occasion. (Phase 4 – THE LIFESTYLE PHASE)
