Follow phase 3 of the HCG Diet Program and give it 100%!  In our clinical experience, we have seen that those who adhere to phase 3 maintain their weight loss with ease, while those who cheat risk gaining their weight back.

INTERMITTENT FASTING IS THE GOLD STANDARD ON PHASE 3.  PICK A 4-8 HOUR EATING WINDOW AND STICK WITH IT.  IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO A 24 HOUR FAST WEEKLY … GO FOR IT!

PREPARING FOR PHASE 3 of the HCG Diet!

  • Your body will take the 21+ days on Phase 3 to stabilize your new weight “set point.” This will help you to maintain the weight that you lost fairly easily with some general eating guidelines.
  • In these weeks of P3, it is crucial to leave all carbs and sugars OUT, with the exception of phase 3 friendly veggies and an occasional fruit. If you want to keep your weight off, you will need to make healthy choices in your diet ~ choose foods that NOURISH you.  Eat only when you are hungry and stop eating when satisfied.  Be aware that a lower calorie diet with proper nutrients will increase your “health span” and keep your weight optimal.
  • While on P3, think about what your lifestyle diet will look like. Make the choice to follow your “lifestyle diet” 85-90% of your life. This leaves 10-15% of your eating time to celebrate & indulge on occasion. (Phase 4)
  • Careful with Carbs!!! The release of insulin triggered by carb intake is the main reason that our bodies store fat.  The truth is … we can get the dietary carbs that we need from low glycemic vegetables and the occasional fruit.  In modern day, many of us always know where our next meal will come from and this reduces the need for simple or complex carbohydrates.  Highly refined carbs are rapidly digested and the rush of incoming fuel after consumption needs to be utilized or it will end up being stored as fat.
